Living or Not

     I know for a fact that our plants are alive.  I believe this because all living things can reproduce, grow, and adapt.  Our plants can reproduce because we planted them from seeds which are the offspring of the same type of plant.  Our plants have grown an incredible amount; from a little seed to a tall green plant.  They have increased in mass, size and maturity. I also know that our plants adapt to their environment because they take part in homeostasis when predisposed to new stimulus.  All of these observations prove that our plants are indeed living.
