My name is Ayla Weitz. I was born in San Jose, California and I have lived there my entire life.
I have tried to garden multiple times all which have been mostly unsuccessful. I once tried to grow apple trees from seed which after six months of nurturing wilted. I have successfully grown strawberries and corn which were very tasty. I am currently growing peppers and peas, hopefully these attempts will turn out. Although my family aren't major gardeners, my relatives in Michigan are avid gardeners. My great aunt and uncle own acres of land most of it is a huge garden. They grow all kinds of fruits and vegetables, and even pickle their own food. I have only visited them once, but I am hoping to go there again to learn more about gardening.
