One of a kind : the wonders of biodiversity
My group is experimenting with collared greens, which are green, but collared greens are smooth and green, and are found in the Americas, Europe, Asia, and The Middle East. Through meiosis, we can expect the plants to have a smooth texture as well as a firm stem and leaves with distinct fibers. Due to the plants' DNA, the plants would inherit its predecessors green texture, shape and size through heredity. Due to the plants' reproductive system, the plant will look identical to it, and perhaps have minimal differences.
